I’m absolutely love the blonde booster added to the bleach powder. That is no joke! A little goes a longgggg way! So following those ratio guidelines and a good scale is a must because that is a lift booster and a yellow killer! I can just imagine how vibrant it would be on it own! Most effective and almost terrifying product I’ve worked with so far when it comes to canceling out yellow AND orange tones! I didn’t even have to tone her. Right from a level (tone) 4/5 to a level 9/10 (tone) of an ashy pearl iridescent platinum vibe color. I can’t believe I didn’t even have to tone her. My scale was a little wonky so I did have to double clarify shampoo around her hair line and porous ends (but we cut those off anyways, however managed to get the blue out still of the ends) because they took that blue seriously! Now I know less is more! Especially around those fine baby hairs, no matter how dark it seems!! I can’t wait to experiment again on a black box dye client, because why not really put it to the test. And on a regular bleach and tone.
That way I can play around with toners a bit since I haven’t had a chance yet. But I’m obsessed and blown away by the Blonde Booster!! And I can’t wait to get my hands on the pigments for mixing customized toners and 6vol for heavy hair transformations and for bleaching around the hairline. Not sure if I leave the booster out of the hairline foils next time, use 6vol, or just cut the amount in 1/2. I guess it’ll all come with experience with the product, playing around with it more and utilizing it in different ways. But definitely getting a steady scale!
And using extra extra caution around that hairline even though she was a level 4… I never would have expected it to pull blue! Baby blue. So I told her shampoo it twice real good right around your hairline next wash with a clarifying shampoo if you have one and in no time it’ll fade out to that white pearly iridescent color like the rest of the foils are.
What a great product and product line. The Insight book that came with it, I just wanted to get my hands on all the products!
